I believe in cinematography and filmmaking as a shared, universal audio-visual language with the power to bring people together, and to represent and reframe perspectives.
I think with cinematography, there is a capacity to render a place that is true and experientially authentic to the sense of the moment, and the people and environment living in that space. It’s this ability for honest translation and feeling that I have always held close to me, as a language and a way that I can find genuine expression.
I’m inspired by the processes of light and the natural world, which are the roots that bring the craft of cinematography to life. Creating within these templates gives a sense of presence and direction, bringing us in line with working in harmony with nature and the world around us.

LITTLE MICROCOSMS is a way for me to release films and material, under a name and concept I hold close to me. I think every film is a capsule ~ a little world, or microcosm, that reflects themes of the world outside. I imagine this in the relationship between a terrarium and a rainforest, or a human and the universe.
